From April 18 to 20, the 2021 Study in China High-level Forum & the 10^th Education Global Partners Conference was held in Nanjing. Dai Lei, Director of SWPU Office of International Affairs, attended the conference.

At the Forum, representatives discussed how to improve the quality and efficiency of foreign students’ study in China. Wang Fan, Office Director of China Education Association for International Exchange, made a special report on the quality certification of foreign student education and introduced its role, significance, rules and standards. It is reported that currently there are 166 institutions in China certified.

Three representatives shared their experience in foreign students’ recruitment, cultivation and management, namely Luan Fengchi, Dean of College of International Education, China University of Petroleum, Yao Ximing, Dean of College of International Education, Shanghai University, and Li Bing, Director of International Exchange and Cooperation Office, Beijing Foreign Studies University.

The 10^th Education Global Partners Conference was held from April 19^th to 20^th. Consul Berik of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Shanghai, Education Counsellor Suyad of the Indonesian Embassy in China, and leaders of China Association of Higher Education and China Education Association for International Exchange attended the conference. In addition, representatives from a few high schools from Mongolia, five universities from Hungary, and University of Siam from Thailand were present as well.

During the conference, Director of SWPU Office of International Affairs, Dai Lei, signed the authorization of ISSP Global Examination, which is of great significance to the quality improvement of international students. Besides, SWPU representatives involved in 15 one-on-one interviews with overseas institutions, including those from Canada, Russia, Czech, Morocco, South Africa, Mongolia, Uzbekistan and so forth. They communicated the school profile, advantage disciplines, professional level, application policies and related issues in detail, and reached initial intent of cooperation.

As the most influential international educational exchange event in China, 2021 Study in China High-level Forum & 10^th Education Global Partners Conference attracted 135 universities to participate in, including Nanjing University, Beijing Foreign Studies University and China University of Petroleum, etc..
