SWPU Cooperates with MSU Mankato

On March 5th, a video conference was held between Southwest Petroleum University and Minnesota State University, Mankato (MSU, Mankato). Zhang Liehui, Vice President of Southwest Petroleum University, and Matt Cecil, Vice President of MSU Mankato exchanged views over the cooperative program in mechanical and electrical engineering major.

Both sides introduced themselves respectively, then discussed the prospect of mechanical and electrical engineering major, and went into details in the training program, curriculum, credit recognition and other issues. They reached a preliminary consensus in the end.

Relevant persons in charge attended the conference, including Aaron Bartsch, Acting Dean of the College of Science, Engineering and Technology, Anne Dahlman, interim Dean of Global Education, Farhad Reza, Chair of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Li Min, Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering, and Dai Lei, Director of SWPU Office of International Affairs, Han Chuanjun, Vice Dean of School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Jiang Faguang, Director of Teaching and Research Office of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Ma Haifeng, Deputy Director, Professor Zhong Gongxiang, Associate Professor Ye Zhewei, and relevant personnel of the Office of International Affairs.

SWPU has long been committed to introducing cooperative education programs, and this conference marks the beginning of in-depth cooperation between SWPU and Minnesota State University, Mankato.
